10 years!

yesterday ted and i celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary. i can't believe i have been so fortunate to have spent 10 years with this man. we have been through a lot together and i am excited for the next 10.
to celebrate we went to sonoma and stayed in a bed and breakfast. this one was built in the 20's, i think. it was really cute and quaint. we had dinner at the girl and the fig (we went there last year and loved it).
thank you so much to rami who watched our girls!!!!

this is us at the continental breakfast. such a cute and peaceful place.

best man

so, ted had to make a run to target before heading out to a wedding today. i asked him to pick up a nice pair of flip-flops. so, he took a picture for me to pick one out. the email took too long and he ended up picking up a silver pair with glittery silver sequins on the straps. i love my techy husband!

ice s'cream, you s'cream...

a few weeks ago we rode our bike's around the neighborhood and stopped at johnny's java. i just found these photos on ted's iphone. this is ella's first ice cream cone. she ordered it herself! she melts my heart!

father's day

for father's day this year we got ted a flying lesson and booked an old lesson he's had for years waiting to be used. he loved it! he got to fly this brand new sportstar! such a pretty plane. he can't wait to plan his next lesson. we love you, ted- the best dad ever!!!!

bargaining with mommy

at lunch yesterday i was letting corinne experiment with feeding herself those little gerber stars. ella asked, "i have one?", "no" i said, "you need to eat your lunch". so we kept eating. when i gave corinne more stars ella said, "i have two stars?" "no, ella, you eat your lunch". then she said, "ok, i have one star?" she's learning this way too early!

swim classes

the first day of lessons ella woke up a bit grumpy from her nap. it made for an interesting swim class.
on friday ted was able to come swim. it was lots of fun having him there.
corinne didn't even cry after being dunked.
ella was feeling a bit better once she got to play with the toys.
corinne practicing her "scoopers"

oh, wait is that a smile?
we are having loads of fun thanks to lori phelps who has been doing swim lessons with us.
corinne did not like her high chair much- at all. so we got another booster. now she sits at the table like her big sister ella.

ella got a new tricycle for $5 last weekend yard saleing- she's such a bargain-hunter.

playtime

i forgot i took this photo. ted made this piece of furniture when ella was under a year. it's basically an upholstered box. we store blankets and i managed to hide away toys in there...until now. for some reason this is the place to be!
