i was looking for a picture to post of ted and me. so sad that we don't have ANY recent photos of the two of us. this is us "way back when". this picture was taken right after ted proposed to me. we're in frauenberg, germany, the town we ended up living in for a year.

we had tacos for dinner one night. i was cleaning off the table and filling the dishwasher. when i came back to the table ella had the tub of sour cream. she had stuff all over her face, but she was daintily dipping her finger in the tub and eating it very cautiously. my favorite part is how she says, "sa-keem" so matter-of-factly.

let's go fly a kite!

ella got an elmo kite for her birthday. ted took her to coffee park to fly it on friday. last weekend we took the girls out to bodega bay and ted and ella tried flying the kite, but there wasn't really any wind (go figure). ella kept talking about her elmo kite and the water. so she really had fun with daddy when there was wind.
