zooey

corinne has been a little under the weather. so, this morning i took corinne (and the other 2) to the doctor. as we were leaving one of the employees complimented corinne on her little stuffed pink poodle.

corinne: her name is zooey.

woman: she's really cute.

corinne: she bites!

woman: well i don't want to pet her if she bites. (reaches her hand out.) i'll just pet her back.

corinne: (moves the dog just as the woman draws her hand back.) ruff. almost. (as in almost bit you.)

then later on this evening we saw a man and his dog at the park. the girls were petting the dog and corinne says: i have a dog named zooey.
