so, i'm a little behind with my blogging. bohdan turned one on august 27th. we had a little "party" at home with the five of us. the girls helped me decorate bohdan's blue star cake. they got a kick out of putting the decorations on it.
we grilled and ate outside and everyone enjoyed the cake, of course. bohdan wasn't sure what was going on, but, as usual, he was willing to go along with it.
his sisters picked out one of the giant bears at costco as their present to him.
a week later we celebrated the big one year old with family and friends in florida. we rented a pavillion at this really cool park near my parents house. the kids enjoyed playing on the castle structure and sliding on the tractor slides.
thankfully, we had some shade for the little guy and he had fun playing with grandpa and poppop. and, of course, eating more cake!
i cannot believe you are one, bohdan! the time is going too fast! i love you to pieces, little bear.
